I’ve built startups, run a national charity, and spent the last two years helping small businesses use AI and smart systems to work better. I started BYOP because I know what it’s like to feel out of your depth with websites and tech, and I wanted to be the person I wish I’d had back then.
Although it’s always been my passion, I didn’t start out as a tech person. I’ve spent the last 13 years running operations and finance for a national charity—building systems from scratch, doing more with less, and learning how to solve problems without throwing money at them.
Along the way, I started a couple of businesses myself. I know what it’s like to stare at a website builder at 11pm wondering if you’re doing it right. I know the anxiety of not understanding what you’re paying for. I know the frustration of tech that doesn’t quite work the way you need it to.
BYOP exists because I wanted to be the person I wish I’d had back then, someone who genuinely gets it, speaks plainly, and helps you build something that actually works.
I don’t work from templates or cookie-cutter solutions. Every business is different, and what works for one person won’t work for another.
My job isn’t to tell you what you need, it’s to listen, ask the right questions, and work with you to build something that fits. Sometimes that means a simple website. Sometimes it means automating hours of admin work with AI. Sometimes it means both.
I limit how many clients I take on because I’d rather give five people my full attention than spread myself thin across twenty. You’re not a number or a target. You’re someone trying to build something, and I’m here to help you do it properly.
